OpexSoftware Cloud and DevOps Product Suite
Founder-Built Products
Productized cloud and DevOps accelerators built at OpexSoftware before the company was acquired by REAN Cloud.
Architecture Responsibility
Responsible for technology architecture and hands-on delivery direction across system design, deployment, DevOps, cost, scale, reliability, and production readiness.
Outcome
Co-founded OpexSoftware and helped build a platform portfolio that included DeployNow, TestNow, HealNow, AssessNow, and related enterprise cloud and DevOps accelerators. The portfolio continued to evolve as part of the REAN Cloud product platform after the 2016 acquisition.
Scale
Built as an enterprise platform portfolio at OpexSoftware and expanded within REAN Cloud for cloud adoption, DevOps automation, and delivery programs, including regulated and large-scale customer environments.
Architecture
- Built DeployNow to accelerate repeatable cloud deployment and release workflows.
- Built TestNow to automate application and infrastructure validation as part of enterprise delivery pipelines.
- Developed HealNow and related operational automation for monitoring, remediation, and cloud operations workflows.
- Developed AssessNow and related assessment accelerators to structure cloud adoption and modernization planning.
- Connected the product suite through reusable cloud automation, infrastructure-as-code, continuous delivery, and operational-readiness patterns.
Lessons Learned
- Enterprise DevOps becomes repeatable when assessment, deployment, testing, and operations are treated as connected platform capabilities rather than isolated projects.
- Productized accelerators need configurable workflows and reusable automation so they can support different customer environments without becoming bespoke implementations.
- Infrastructure automation creates more durable value when delivery speed, validation, operational readiness, and recovery are designed together.
- A services organization can turn recurring delivery patterns into a product platform when engineering teams deliberately capture and standardize what they learn.
